When your Bluetooth headset won’t work, Instagram Stories won’t load, or your favorite flat iron refuses to heat up, troubleshooting the issue usually begins the same: check the connection. Just like technology and appliances, we were designed to be connected – to a power source, to others, and to ourselves. Our bodies and minds are wired for connection.
Though this has been true since God created Eve, our current society is becoming the most disconnected one in history. While we’re now “connected” to thousands of people through social and online media, it seems we’ve lost our ability to make deep, quality connections with the world and people around us.
Our desire with this workshop is to teach you how to connect with yourself, with others, and, most importantly, with God. This foundational workshop will give you the tools you need to better understand why connection is so vital and how you can apply it to your life – starting today! To do this, we’ll explore what the Bible says about connection, discover how our brains need and respond to connection, and learn the benefits of connecting with others.
